The Best Airports in the World

When we travel by plane, we hope that the airport from which we depart offers us a good service and facilitates the necessary procedures to be able to embark on our journey. However, on some occasions there may be circumstances at airports or airlines that cause delays or cancellations in our flight, such as the strikes that Ryanair and EasyJet have recently suffered, leaving many people with a bad taste in the mouth.

There are a series of keys that airports must have, such as connectivity, comfort and the size of the terminals. Taking these characteristics into account, the Skytrax consultancy wanted to make a list of the 100 best airports in the world based on the votes of travelers who have been to them. Airports in places like Qatar, Japan, Singapore or South Korea have been in the top positions.

In the case of Spanish airports, there are five that have managed to find themselves in this ranking. In first place we find the Adolfo Suárez airport in Madrid, ranked 16th. It is followed by El Prat airport in Barcelona, ranked 23rd. Away from the top positions but very highly valued, is Malaga airport at 97, Alicante at 98 and closing the list at position 100 is Palma de Mallorca.
